Am I eligible to be a Travel Guide on Secret Voyage?
SecretVoyage.com requires Travel Guides to have the following qualifications:

Currently living in a city you know well for more than 2 years

Speak a minimum of 2 languages: usually English and your Native Language
The number of Travel Guides is limited by city and language in order to guarantee travelers irreproachable
quality information.
Upon acceptance of your application, depending on the number of registered Travel Guides at the time, you will be able to connect using your login and password. Once logged in you will be directed to your personal area and to traveler's questions about your city.

If you plan to be absent for more than 1 day (24 hours), please logon immediately and indicate on your profile that you will be away.

Please keep all answers
accurate and courteous.
Maintaining a high rating is essential in order to remain in the Travel Guides network and to earn money. The Travel Guide with the best rating in their city becomes the Priority Travel Guide and will get 6 hours of priority to answer any new questions relating to their city.

To maintain a high rating, only answer questions for which you can
provide reliable and accurate answers.

Be the first to answer the questions for your city. Of course the first Travel Guide who answers the question receives the money. As soon as a Travel Guide has submitted an answer the question disappears from the list. Plus,
answering quickly
is an important factor calculated into the rating you will receive from the travelers. The faster you answer, the better your rating will be.
What should I do if a traveler is impolite or rude?
If you believe a traveler is being rude or unfriendly, please
contact us
and let us know. If you decide to answer his question, remain polite and courteous and continue to give quality answers. Your professionalism will always be your best asset. Keep in mind that the travelers are the ones who judge and rate you. Your rating will be affected as a result of a conflict.
I would like to become a Travel Guide, but my city is not available on the list. What should I do?

How do I get paid?
For each question answered, you will be awarded 0.40€. SecretVoyage.com will pay your commission automatically to your
Paypal
account once you have accumulated 10€.
What about my personal information? I do not want people contacting me directly or at odd hours.
We keep your contact details hidden from the traveler. This protects you so you can be sure you are getting paid for your travel advice. You can see a full description of our

I have not used my account for a long time, and now I cannot logon to SecretVoyage.com. What happened?
If you did not indicate in your profile that you would be unavailable and you have been inactive for more than 30 days, we have deactivated your account. Please
contact us.
